By Annie Pollock and Colm Cunningham
An inspiring, practical guide packed with global best practices, expert insights, and beautiful photography.
Despite clear health and wellbeing benefits, access to outdoor spaces is often overlooked in dementia care. This book shows why that matters – and how to change it.
With practical advice on garden design, site planning, planting, and maintenance – plus up-to-date dementia design principles throughout – The Room Outside is an essential resource for anyone looking to create inclusive, healing outdoor spaces in care homes, hospitals, community settings, or private homes.
